Fagottino International Competition
Liège - December 11, 12 and 13, 2026

 

From December 11 to 13, 2026, the Liège Conservatory will welcome bassoonists of all ages, levels and backgrounds for three days dedicated to music, meeting and sharing.

 

From the youngest bassoonists to university students, and including adult amateurs, everyone will find their place among the 7 categories offered. The idea? To set a great goal, to get on stage, listen to others, exchange ideas, discover new things… and above all, to experience a wonderful moment together around the bassoon.

 

The program includes: competitions, concerts, musical encounters and bassoon ensembles, all in a demanding but deeply benevolent spirit.

 

Because, at its core, the Fagottino Competition was born from a very simple desire: to bring together the world of bassoon, to create links and to give everyone the desire to go a little further.

 

A competition, yes… but above all a great bassoon festival!

Thanks to our partners, there are many prizes to be won: a Heckel jar, a Reeds'n Stuff machine, instrument servicing (Lemca), vouchers for various specialist stores (Médir, Reeds'n Stuff, Thomann, Adams, Rieger, etc.), sheet music, and
